PPP will submit plea for bail of Zardari for medical treatment; says Bilawal

ISLAMABAD: On Monday, it was announced by Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari that the bail plea will be submitted for the former president Asif Ali Zardari on medical grounds by the party as was given to Nawaz Sharif and allowed him to travel abroad for medical treatment.

During a media talk today, an announcement was made by the PPP chairman where he told that the bail plea will be filed by the party for the former president on medical grounds, being subjected to a case due to the fake bank accounts.

Further, it was said by Bilawal Bhutto that PPP will not give up its political perspective and file an appeal till tomorrow.

The PPP chairman has told the media that, “We do not trust Pakistani doctors.”

Earlier on this day, Bilawal Bhutto visited his father who is recently been under treatment at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS).

Moreover, Bilawal mentioned in the meeting that several things related to the political situation of the country brought into consideration.

He said, “The rally of our Foundation Day was quite successful and full participation is shown by the Kashmiris…We also decided to behold Benazir Bhutto’s death anniversary on Dec 27 at Liaqaut Bagh.”

At the beginning of this month, the plea was dismissed which was seeking permission to move former president Zardari to Karachi for medical treatment.

An application was lodged by Farooq H Naik, Zardari’s counsel, asking to have better facilities for PPP leader and Zardari’s sister, Faryal Talpur.

In June, Zardari was put in jail just after his application for bail was turned down due fake bank accounts case.
