ICC WorldCup 2019 Semifinals 2: England won the match against Australia by 8 wickets

London: England won the second semi finals of ICC WorldCup 2019 against Australia by 8 wickets.

Australia won the toss and chose to bat first as the match started at the Edgbaston ground.

In the first innings openers D. Warner scored 9 while Finch didn’t score any run. Smith score 85 runs, Carey scored 46 runs and Handscomb scored 4 runs.

Stoinis didnt score any run. Maxwell score 22 while Cummins score only 6 runs. Starc scored 29, Behrendorff scored only a run while Lyon was not out at 5 as team set the target of 224 runs.

From English side Woakes and Rashid got 3 wickets, Archer picked 2 while Wood bagged only one.

In the second innings, openers showed their best form as J. Roy scored 85 runs and J. Bairstow scored 34 runs.

J. Root at 49 runs and Captain Eon Morgan at 45 runs remained not out.

From Australian side Starc and Cummins picked one each.
