LONDON: On Wednesday, Altaf Hussain- the founder of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) was released on bail after he was taken into custody by the Scotland Yard on Tuesday in an early morning.
It was said by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) that the current evidence was not enough to charge Hussain at this stage. This news was conformed by the police that the investigation will be continued, as per the CPS.
Altaf Hussain, earlier, did not answer the questions of the detectives from counter-terrorism Command Unit of Scotland Yard, revealed by the sources.
On Tuesday morning, Hussain was arrested and was taken to a south London police station. There were 15 officers who was taken part in a dawn raid at his north London home.
MQM founder Altaf Hussain has been arrested in connection to the hate speech of 2016 in which he had urged his followers to take the law into their own hands.
