Facebook has been down along with Instagram and WhatsApp

All around the world the users of Facebook are reporting issues while logging into and and posting on the Facebook as well as WhatsApp and Instagram.

The breakdown was acknowledged by the company in a tweet on Wednesday, saying, “We’re aware that some people are currently having trouble accessing the Facebook family of apps. We’re working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.”

Later, it was confirmed that DDoS attack was not the reason behind this breakdown. DDoS refers to the Distributed Denial-of-Service attack in which a hacker  overwhelms a site by flooding it with fake traffic.

As per the Downdetector- a website where user of the applications can report problems they face related to the app and websites, the reports of the Facebook have reached at over 11,000 worldwide.

On twitter, screenshots were posted by many users Facebook showing error messages when the users tried to load the app. The message appears on the screen when users tried to load the site saying, “Account Temporarily Unavailable.”

In November, the breakdown of its tool for advertisers has previously experienced by Facebook. When marketers were trying to place ads related to Cyber Monday and Black Friday.
