Malaysian company ready to invest $250 million in Pakistan’s telecom, digital sectors

The Edocto group- the Malaysian telecommunication company planned to invest $250 million in the infrastructure and digital sector of Pakistan.

The Prime Minister Imran Khan was called on by Datuk Azzat Kamaluddin- the Chairman Board of Directors Edocto Group Malaysia today, as per the official press statement.

Suresh Narain Singh Sidhu, Dr Nik Ramlah Nik Mehmood and Arif Hussain attended the meeting along with the Ikran Mohammad Ibrahim- the High Commissioner of Malaysia.

During the meeting Haroon Sharif- the Chairman Board of Investment and Ahmed Nawaz Sukhera- the Secretary BOI  were also present.

Having an investment of $100 million, it has been planning by Edotco Group to further extend their investment in tower Infrastructure. It was said in the statement that the group plans to increase an investment of $250 million in the coming five years.

The vision of PM Imran Khan and the policies of his government was appreciated by the Chairman Edotco Group Malaysia.

It was said by the chairman that Edotco wants to become a partner in Digital Pakistan Program.

Moreover, it was said by the Prime Minister that we will provide all possible facilitation to investors and will take the measures in order to enhance  ease of doing business.
