NYT announces the integration of Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger planned by Mark Zuckerberg

New York: On Friday Jan 25th, as per the reports of New York Times, the Chief Executive of Facebook Inc. Mark Zuckerberg is planning to incorporate end-to-end encryption to  WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook and to unify the underlying messaging infrastructure of the services of these apps.

The reports said these three services however, will continue as stand alone apps specifying four people engaged in this effort.

It further stated that in the early stages of work, the company is still and plans to complete it by the end of this year or in early 2020.

No immediate response is given by Facebook for the request of comment.

As per the reports, the user of Facebook will be able send an encrypted message to someone who has only a WhatsApp account, after the changes.

Except for the participants in conversation, end-to-end encryption protects messages from being viewed by anyone.
