Supreme court bars Pakistani Channel airing Indian content

Supreme court of Pakistan has imposed a ban on airing Indian content on Pakistani channel on Saturday.

Supreme court’s supreme judge Saqib Nisar heard the case pertinent to airing Indian content on Pakistani Channel. The similar kinds of actions have already taken by the Indian court, and they refrained their channels to air Pakistani content.

Justice Saqib Nisar remarked that they are trying to obstruct the construction of dams in Pakistan, and we cannot impose a ban on airing Indian content.

He ordered the authorities to shut down Indian channels and only to air the appropriate content which could represent the Pakistani culture.

In 2016, PEMRA imposed a complete ban on Airing Indian channel and content in Pakistan even on Radios. Later on, Lahore High court lifted that ban and remarked that the world has been converted into a global village, you cannot refrain anyone to watch any channel they wanted.

And now, Pakistan’s Supreme court again imposed a complete ban on Airing Indian channels and Indian content, and Pakistani’s audience no longer be enjoying big boss anymore.
